Who you would be contracting with.
This page exists so procurement can screenshot it into a vendor file. Registration numbers that do not exist yet are shown as pending with a target date rather than left blank — a blank field reads as a shell company, and a wrong one is worse.

Ownership, and the controls on it.
Item 2.0Governance
Ownership is remote — the founder is in Canada — with a local partner operating in Ludhiana. We publish this rather than obscure it, because a buyer's real question about a remote-owned Indian supplier is who stops it going wrong on a Friday afternoon.
- Bank mandate above ₹1 lakh sits with the founder. No local signature moves material money.
- The local partner holds vested equity, not a salary — four years, one-year cliff.
- ERP from day one, not from the year we can afford it.
- Quality sign-off is independent of dispatch. The person who can release a container cannot be the person under pressure to ship it.
- Quarterly external chartered-accountant audit.
- IP assignment and non-compete signed in India before operations start.
- Four site visits a year, two of them unannounced.
Compliance positions we have taken deliberately.
Item 3.0Risk posture
No CBU import and re-badge
We do not import complete built-up vehicles and white-label them into India. Six Indian OEMs ran that playbook; ₹469 Cr was clawed back and one was liquidated in 2026.
No unprovable content claims
We will never certify a domestic-value-addition percentage to a subsidy portal that traceable vendor invoices cannot prove. It is enforced retroactively, component by component.
No own-brand in your market
Contractual, not aspirational. The one exclusion on this site that sits in the agreement rather than on the website.
Policies.
Item 4.0In preparation
We would rather list these honestly as in preparation than publish links that go nowhere. A dead link in a compliance section is worse than no section at all.
| Policy | Status | Target |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier code of conduct | In preparation | Before first purchase order |
| Modern slavery and labour standards statement | In preparation | Before first purchase order |
| Environmental and waste policy | In preparation | Before shed handover |
| Anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy | In preparation | Before first purchase order |
| Data protection and confidentiality | Drafted | Covers drawings you send us today |
Item 4.1 — what already applies to a drawing you send us
Anything you attach to the quotation form is treated as confidential and is not shared outside Ampo. It is stored in a private, write-only bucket — the form can put a file in and nothing on the public site can read one back out. If your procurement process needs an NDA before you send anything, say so and we will sign yours rather than ask you to sign ours.
