Station-based assembly, drawn before it is leased.
There is no factory yet. There is a layout, a target site, a lease date and seven governance controls that exist before any machine is ordered. This page publishes all four rather than a photograph of somebody else's building.
Floor layout, plan view.
Item 1.0AMP-PL-LAY rev A
Eight stations, U-flow, goods-in and dispatch on the same yard. Station-based rather than a conveyor — a conveyor sets one takt for every product and punishes the mixed, short-run work an ODM actually gets asked for.
Who stops it going wrong at 4pm on a Friday.
Item 2.0Governance controls
Ampo is owned from Canada and operated in Ludhiana. That is a fair thing for a buyer to worry about, and the honest answer is a list of controls rather than a reassurance. Every one of them is in place before a single machine is ordered.
- Bank mandate above ₹1 lakh sits with the founder. No local signature moves material money.
- The local partner holds vested equity, not a salary — four years, one-year cliff.
- ERP from day one, not from the year we can afford it.
- Quality sign-off is independent of dispatch. The person who can release a container cannot be the person under pressure to ship it.
- Quarterly external chartered-accountant audit.
- IP assignment and non-compete signed in India before operations start.
- Four site visits a year, two of them unannounced.
Item 2.1 — if one of these stops being true
It comes off this page the same day. A published control we are not running is worse than never publishing the list.
Why this site, specifically.
